      Achiote or Annatto Seed Seasoning is traditionally used as seasoning in the famous Yucatan and Central American dishes, mainly those influenced by the Mayan Culture.       Ingredients

      Annatto Seed, Spices, Vinegar, Iodized Salt, Water, Granulated Garlic, Corn Meal, FD&C Red Color 40, Sodium Benzoate as a Preservative.

      Directions

      Best if refrigerated. Use approximately 1/3 brick for 2 lbs of meat. Dissolve in your choice of: lemon juice, water, oil or vinegar to create marinade. Marinate in or rub directly on meat. Grill, bake, BBQ or broil.
